In terms of load, the Matrice 30 series integrates a 16x optical zoom camera, a wide-angle camera, an infrared camera (M30T), and a laser rangefinder. These sensors work together to make it easy for pilots to grasp the situation on the job site, regardless of the distance of the target, day or night. 16x zoom camera for 8K photos and 4K/30fps video recording. The wide-angle camera field of view (DFOV) is up to 84°. The infrared camera has a resolution of 640×512@30 Hz and a temperature measurement accuracy of ±2°C. The laser rangefinder measures the distance up to 1200 meters.

When working at night, the M30 series can clearly distinguish the sky, mountains, trees, and other obstacles, and work with intelligent dot navigation to make work safer. In addition, the zoom camera has a large dynamic range, so you can take clear photos even in low-light environments.

The Matrice 30 series comes standard with DJI’s DJI RC Plus remote controller, which is designed for industrial users. It is equipped with a large 7-inch high-brightness screen, so you can easily show the details in the sun. The remote controller adopts O3 video transmission industry version, which can work simultaneously with 4G network video transmission, easily cope with all kinds of complex environments, and fly safer. The remote control is IP54 level protection, the external battery can be hot-replaced, waterproof and high-temperature resistant. The remote controller cooperates with Pilot 2 operating software, and common functions such as flight control and camera can be reached with one click, and the flight mission and camera information are displayed in a centralized manner, doubling the efficiency. Combined with the screen edge and custom buttons, the pilot can achieve smooth operation without leaving the pole.

Sikong 2 cloud platform

Air-ground collaboration has never been more efficient

On the job site, how to achieve efficient joint operation of multiple machines and synchronize drone data in real time in different roles of the team is a difficult problem that the operation team often encounters. DJI Sky 2, a one-stop drone mission management cloud platform released this time, works with the Matrice 30 series and Matrice 300 to solve this pain point.

Sikong 2 adopts the design idea of multi-terminal synchronization, and all devices that can open web pages can be accessed and used, such as mobile phones, computers, tablets, remote controls, etc. The Sikong 2 interface efficiently integrates multi-terminal information such as aircraft, remote controllers, and ground mobile terminals, and can share all information on the interface in real time and cooperate with each other from frontline personnel to the command center. The operator can label points, lines, and surfaces on the Sikong 2 interface, mark targets, plan routes, and distribute work areas.

Sikong 2 comes with a 2.5D base map, which provides practical and convenient geographic information for tasks and makes task planning more reasonable. Accurate elevation information makes the plane drawings three-dimensional. Sikong 2 can also obtain detailed information about operations through real-time synchronization of panoramas and fast cloud mapping (visible and infrared).

With Sikong 2, the command center can also manage mission and media data. When the multi-unit is operating, the multi-channel high-definition live broadcast screen can be adjusted to grasp the scene in real time.

  DJI Airport

  Stick to the no-man’s land

In response to the demand for drone automation in inaccessible areas, DJI Airport, together with the Matrice 30 series Airport Edition and the Matrice 2 cloud platform, can remotely issue flight plans, collect multi-dimensional information, and bring efficiency innovation to automated patrols, infrastructure inspections, engineering supervision, and other fields.

Weighing 105 kg and covering an area of less than 1 square meter, DJI Airport integrates built-in antennas, an integrated weather station, an ultra-wide-angle surveillance camera, and an RTK base station to greatly reduce deployment and reduce O&M costs without the need for on-site attendance or frequent on-site visits. With the fast charging module, the drone can take off again in just 25 minutes after operation. In terms of reliability, DJI Airport has an IP55 protection rating and a 40KA lightning protection design, which can work normally in the range of -35°C to 50°C. It also has a built-in backup battery, which can still ensure the safe return of the drone after a power failure.

DJI Airport cooperates with the Sikong 2 cloud platform and the Matrice 30 Airport Edition, covering patrol and inspection work within a 7-kilometer radius of the airport[5].。 Administrators can remotely and quickly carry out route planning, deliver real-time delivery to designated airports, and manage all flight plans. In drone operation, it can also realize real-time high-definition live broadcast of multi-channel drones, allowing administrators to remotely monitor the operation site online.

In addition, media data can be automatically returned and archived to achieve one-stop management. Open any job photo, it can be mapped to a 2.5D map, helping to quickly locate the problem and deal with it efficiently. DJI Airport also supports open access and privatized deployment.
